Playing Hookey

It was such a beautiful day, we skipped school and explored a new park, "Centennial Hills Park", but to us will forever be remembered as "Butterfly Park". It was a ton of fun! The temp dropped down to the mid 70's, and it was wonderful. Such a nice time.

Then Paul took Alexandra and Max to yet another magic show. We have been enjoying quite a lot of free Vegas thanks to Vegas4locals.com. Danny Gans and Lance Burton have been the best so far.

Ironman fever is high here. The movie spooked Alexandra a bit, but Max is counting the weeks (8 total, 7 to go) to get his Ironman costume. He is earning it through completing weekly chore charts. Alexandra's chosen reward is a pass to the Adventure Dome. Anastasia wants to pick out a new toy. The chore charts have been a hit.

Natalie is growing...especially her hair. And she is trying to talk. It's so cute! She is very smart. She understands so much of what you say. But she is also in destruction mode this week. She lost a $1 DVD that needed to be returned (I finally found it) and broke the "H" key off my laptop while I searched for the DVD. Argh! It's annoying to type without the normal "H" key. But I love her anyway!

Motherhood is such a tremendous blessing!
